All wear the appropriate clothing whilst handling the asbestos. Organising the quote and the demolition was easy. I'd highly recommend Goodbye Asbestos for any Asbestos removal you may require."

  • "I wanted to say a big thank you to Chris and the team for the superb job they did this morning in dismantling our horrible old asbestos/concrete garage! It was all done very quickly and professionally. They wore PPE and the asbestos roof panels were securely wrapped in plastic sheeting. The site was left clean and tidy afterwards. I also appreciated your sending me your waste licence and a copy of your insurance which was very reassuring as one reads some horror stories about waste disposal cowboys."

Safety is always the top priority

Asbestos can be extremely dangerous when disturbed, so we take no chances. While it is important to work quickly to minimise disruption for those around, a methodical approach is essential. That’s why we follow the same tried-and-tested method every time, regardless of the size of the project.

Before starting any work, we will undertake a full asbestos audit and risk assessment, and advise you on the safest, most effective method of removal. We also thoroughly water down the garage before work starts, as this greatly reduces the risk of asbestos fibres getting into the air. In addition, we always work with the appropriate equipment and wear safety suits and masks.

The main priority is to ensure a safe environment for those who live and work in the vicinity, as well as, of course, our own team. With this in mind, our health and safety promise is as follows:

  • Our staff annually attend training on Non-Licensable Asbestos Works provided by a UKATA member.

  • We’re properly insured, with public liability insurance to the value of £1 million.

  • We dispose of asbestos at official, approved waste transfer facilities.

  • You will receive a hazardous waste consignment note, issued by The Environment Agency, confirming the proper removal of dangerous materials.
